Ja-min Ahn, who studies Energy∙Materials∙Chemical Engineering at KOREATECH received the WISET(Women in Science, Engineering and Technology) · KCerS Young Female Researchers Award in this event.
Her research paper “ Water Molecule Reaction on Ce 0.75 Zr 0.25 O 2 (111) surface by Density Functional Theory ” was about water molecule ’ s reaction process on Ce 0.75 Zr 0.25 O 2 (111) surface which can be used as an anode supporter of solid oxide electrolyzer cell(SOEC).
“ New regeneration energy such as solar cells cannot maintain the amount of power constantly. Therefore, a storing technique is needed for surplus energy that was produced during the day time to be used at night when power production stops.
