Farewell ceremony for Ki-Kweon Lee, the 7 th president of KOREATECH.
On the 14 th of July, KOREATECH held a farewell ceremony for Ki-Kweon Lee, the 7 th president of KOREATECH attended by 250 students and faculty members in Dasan Hall.
President Lee took office in 2012 as the president of KOREATECH and worked hard for the university.
Recently he was promoted to minister in the Ministry of Employment and Labor of Korea.
He stated at the Farewell ceremony that “The reason why I was happy during my term as the president of KOREATECH is that I was able to accompany the students’ way to be happy”. He also added that “By the time KOREATECH establishes its ‘vision 2030’, I want to visit as a guest and celebrate the success of KOREATECH, it being one of the top ten universities in Korea, and being one of the world’s best HRD centered university, as well
as being the central university leading Korea’s competence-based society”.
He was a strong influence and an inspiration to everyone in KOREATECH.
